Following the demise of the once great Wimbledon F.C., two clubs rose out of the ashes: Milton Keynes Dons and AFC Wimbledon. The former is the official continuation of the side often referred to as “The Crazy Gang”. In the club’s short history, they have spent most of their time playing in the EFL League One, sprinkled with a few stints in the EFL League Two and a single full season in the EFL Championship. The Dons spent their initial seasons playing at the, now demolished, National Hockey Stadium, until the construction of the incredible Stadium MK was completed in time for the start of the 2007/08 season.

After PPG aided MK Dons’ survival in their first season back in League One last term, Russell Martin’s side look set for a rebuild, as they know that relegation is not a fear but play-offs are a pipe dream at this stage…
